Hi there! I’m Deena, an Austin, Texas based writer. I love creating lively, ambitious characters who navigate the world with kindness and curiosity. I’ve written a 5 book YA series called Raindropt, which is set in a lush rainforest with a colorful cast of elves, fairies, unicorns, gargoyles, and — of course — gnomes. I’m currently writing picture books for children aged 3 to 8 years old, and I reserve the right to try my hand at board books or middle grade in the future if inspiration strikes.
